Expanding Brackets means multiply the terms of the first bracket to the terms of the second bracket, add the like terms and write the final answer as a sum of terms

FOIL

First, Outer, Inner, Last, or FOIL, is a methof used to expand brackets in a quadratic expression. The idea is to multiply terms of the brackets in the order given (Multiply the first terms of each brackets, the outer terms, in the inner terms, and the last term in each bracket). After this is done, you simplify to get your result.
